(1) We must state immediately that the purpose of the GLAM revolution is not to convert those who do not desire GLAMness. GLAM is a choice, or a series of choices, which can be made by an individual in pursuit of power and self-actualization beyond what is offerred directly by popular culture. (2) The GLAM revolution will take over the world in small ways, and will empower those for whom fashion is an important means of expression. (3) This is not to say that it is impossible for the uninitiated to discover GLAM. GLAM offers a form of fashion consciousness which appeals to that in us which resists fashion in its traditional forms.
