In order for the revolution to take hold, GLAM must be seen in grocery stores, at the post office, in classrooms and living rooms around the world. (2) Part of the impact of GLAM lies in the use of costume where costume is not expected. GLAM is everyday performance as a means of pointing to the ways in which we all act out our genders. (3) Because we are assailed daily with limitations on the possible forms our sexuality and gender can take, we must formulate a reaction in our everyday lives.
